How To Prepare Pie Crust
Before you begin making your dumplings, it is important to prepare the pie crust properly. If you use a frozen pie crust, thaw it according to the package instructions.
Then, roll out the pie crust to a thickness of about 1/8 inch. If the crust is too thick, it may not be easy to work with and may not cook through properly.
To make the crust more pliable, you can also warm it slightly in the microwave or by placing it on a warm skillet.
How To Make Dumplings With Pie Crust
Once the pie crust is prepared, it’s time to shape and fill the dumplings. Cut out pie crust circles using a round cookie cutter or a glass. Place a small amount of filling in the center of each circle.
